Mobilo is a digital business card platform built mainly for teams, from small businesses to large enterprises, and known for low prices and NFC cards. Newbi is built for a different kind of customer. I built Newbi, so bear that in mind. Every Mobilo figure below comes from Mobilo's own website, checked on 8 October 2026, with links so you can check them.

The short version: Mobilo is built for teams that want to share contacts and capture leads cheaply. Newbi is built for owner-run businesses whose card has to take bookings, show what they sell and work on WhatsApp.

Where Mobilo is the better choice

If price is what matters most. Mobilo's Pro plan is listed at $3 a month, and it offers a free digital card. Newbi costs more.

If you are equipping a team. Mobilo's Teams plan is listed at $4 a month billed annually, with team analytics, and a Business plan adds single sign-on and directory sync. Newbi does not have team administration.

If leads must go straight into your CRM. Mobilo lists native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and others, plus thousands more through Zapier. Newbi's Professional plan sends leads to your CRM by webhook, which works with most CRMs but takes a little more setting up.

If you want an email signature. Mobilo includes one on every plan. Newbi's is a basic signature you copy from the Share tab.

Where Newbi is the better choice

If clients book appointments with you. Newbi's Pro plan has booking built into the card: services with their own durations, your opening hours, a confirmation with a calendar invite, a link to cancel or reschedule, and a reminder in the 24 hours before. Mobilo lists Calendly as an integration, which is a separate tool.

If you sell products or packages. A Newbi Pro card can show up to ten products with photos, prices and variants, plus priced packages. Mobilo's pages do not describe a product catalogue.

If your customers message you on WhatsApp. Every Newbi card has a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with you. Mobilo mentions following up leads on WhatsApp; a WhatsApp button on the card itself is not described on its pages.

If you work in Arabic. Every Newbi card can be shown in Arabic, laid out right to left, and in seven other languages. Mobilo's app is listed in English.

If you want an NFC card in South Africa, quickly. Newbi sells NFC cards in rand from R550, delivered locally. Mobilo ships worldwide, and gives three to four weeks for delivery to Africa and the Middle East, with import taxes not included.

If you want a card that stands out. Newbi was designed to look premium: themes, a cover photo or looping video, a gallery and a Portrait layout with your city and local time. If your card is your shop window, that matters.

What each costs

Mobilo lists its Pro plan at $3 a month, Teams at $4 a month billed annually, and Business at $5 a month billed annually, plus NFC cards from a few dollars to around $70. Prices on its pricing page were not all consistent on the day we checked, so confirm the current price with Mobilo. (pricing)

Newbi's plans are:

  • Newbie: one card, $5 a month (R79, AED 19, £4).
  • Pro: three cards, bookings, a shop with up to ten products, and wallet passes. $12 a month (R189, AED 45, £9).
  • Professional: ten cards, up to 100 products, leads sent to your CRM, a custom domain and priority support. $25 a month (R399, AED 92, £19).

Yearly plans cost the price of ten months, and you can try Pro free for 14 days.

The verdict

Choose Mobilo if you want the lowest price, or a simple way to give a team cards that feed leads into a CRM.

Choose Newbi if you run your own business and want a card that takes bookings, shows what you sell and opens a WhatsApp chat, looks premium, and is priced in your currency and available in Arabic.

You can try Newbi's Pro plan free for 14 days, and see made-up example cards for a restaurant, a barber and an architecture studio.

Mobilo's prices and features were taken from mobilocard.com and its App Store listing on 8 October 2026 and may have changed since. "Not stated" means we could not find the feature on Mobilo's own pages, not that it definitely does not exist.
